Savannah

Here's a few photos I shot on a trip to Savannah GA. Probably one of the most interesting places I've ever been! If you like history, this is the place you want to visit. Besides being Americas largest gathering of historical landmarks (pretty much the entire city), it's also said to be one of the most haunted in the country. There's so many cool and exciting stories from Savannah, I wouldn't even know where to begin! Being a huge Pirate buff, I had to of course pay a visit to "The Pirates' House", a tavern/eating place for seafares build in 1753 that quickly became a meeting place for notorious pirates. It's still working as a eating place today and is one of the oldest houses in Georgia. The city itself is extremely charming and looks like something you'd find in a Disney park, but this is the real deal and most of the city's houses are 150-250 years old. Alot of movies have been shot there, like "Forrest Gump", "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", Something To Talk About" etc etc. Will probably post some more photos from my trip later.

Hans, Bro!

Thanks for the comment! I have been meaning to comment on your stuff - it's real good. I love that beach sunset one. So, one of these days, I'll get down there for a visit - keep your Danish socks on!

I've never wanted to visit Savannah until now! You've sold me. You had me at "Pirates' House". That is so cool, and some great photos too!
